Preparing for Life @ Frome Library

Thursday 19th May: 6.30 pm - 7.30 pm

Preparing for Life @ Frome Library is an exciting event aimed at exploring the issues that surround parenthood as part of the growing up process. Young people present their unique perspective on Preparing for Life - and parenthood - through art, drama and animation projects.

* "Play and Prepare", a drama performance by Oakfield Schoolʼs Year 8 students. Students perform a short play that highlights the dilemmas that face young people and parents-to-be.

* Screening of Information Campaign Animations on parenthood by Year 11 students from Frome Community College.

* "My Future Self" an art exhibition by Year 8 students from Selwood School.

* Prize giving – Prizes for the best work from each school will be awarded by the well-known television, film and stage performer, Mark McGann.
